Thanks to those who have read my newly published novel, The Boy in the Basement. I am grateful and humbled by those who took the time to post a review. Feedback is so important to me.

The book has only been out for a week, so I do understand that the bar here is high. Despite the fictional aspect of the book, it was important, to me, that my mission (of shedding light into the secondary trauma of caring professionals) be integrated into the plot line.

Despite the initial high ratings, I know that it is “early days” and I don’t expect to be perfect. I just want to keep learning and growing. I can do that by hearing from and reading those who want to share their honest input.

  1. Congratulations on getting the book out there, friend! While I was a teacher, not a social worker, I feel you on secondary trauma.

Thank you for the visit to my blog, too! If you ever want to see any particular content, please let me know.

Have a great day, my fellow camel!
